About me

Hi, I'm Krish Gupta, a BS Data Science and Applications student at IIT Madras, currently at the diploma level. I have also pursued a minor in Artificial Intelligence from IIT Ropar, focusing on neural networks, computer vision, NLP, robotics, AI, and IoT.

Alongside academics, I have held leadership and editorial roles across multiple student societies. I served as the Regional Coordinator for Sundarbans House, Event Head for Kampus Run at Paradox 2025, Managing Editor of Saṃskṛta Makarandah, and Head of Research & Publications at THE Sportify. These experiences allowed me to lead teams, manage large-scale events, create impactful publications, and strengthen community engagement across diverse domains.

I also volunteered with the Student Placement Council’s Outreach Team, connecting with industry professionals and supporting placement initiatives. Through these experiences, I have developed strong skills in leadership, communication, event management, and strategic outreach—complementing my passion for data science and AI.

  1. Event Head — Kampus Run, Paradox 2025

    Apr 2025 — Jun 2025

    Led the end-to-end planning and execution of Kampus Run, a flagship event of Paradox 2025, IIT Madras BS. Directed a team of 15+ volunteers, managed registrations, outreach, promotions, and logistics. Delivered a highly successful event with 1200+ participants, strengthening the fest’s visibility and enhancing participant experience.

  2. Regional Coordinator — Sundarbans House, IIT Madras BS

    Aug 2024 — Jul 2025

    Spearheaded student engagement for the Chandigarh Region, organizing offline meetups, orientations, and community-building initiatives. Co-founded Aryavarta Sangam, a cultural knowledge-sharing initiative, and played a central role in the Voices of Power series featuring Union Minister Smriti Irani, attended by 1000+ participants. Oversaw 200+ proposal submissions for Paradox 2025 and actively contributed to house strategy and cross-team collaboration.

    Oversaw Saṃskṛta Makarandah, the official monthly Sanskrit magazine. Managed the editorial workflow, coordinated writers and reviewers, and ensured linguistic and design quality. Expanded readership through creative layouts and outreach campaigns, blending classical Sanskrit with modern perspectives.

  5. Research & Publication Head — THE Sportify, IIT Madras BS

    Led content development for newsletters and magazines, featuring sports news, athlete profiles, and analytical articles.
